Valencia have won the Champions League for the first time since the 1994/95 season.
Rodriguez’s side took the lead through Juan Bernat in the 41st minute.
The Brazilian was involved in a collision with Cristian Rodriguez in the box, before his effort was cleared off the line by Victor Valdes.
However, it was then Rodría’s side equalised through Alvaro Rodróguez, who scored the opener in the 84th minute.
Valdes equalised in the 88th minute, when his header was saved by Rodrés.
The Catalan side had the game under control at the break, but Valencia hit back when they equalised just after the break.
Rodríga was on target again in the 90th minute when he curled a free kick past Valdes into the top corner.
The visitors are now level on points with Barcelona with seven games to play.
